ImperiumPunk
Until recently, ImperiumPunk was without a doubt, the largest and longest project I've ever produced. After nearly a whole year in development, I honestly can't believe it's finished.
For those who aren't aware, ImperiumPunk is an ARG empire builder similar to games like Pokemon Go or Pikmin Bloom. The game takes the player's geolocation as an input and then creates their local area (I.E., buildings, roads, rivers, etc) in the game world. Players then take control of a massive moving city and can go out and build a digital empire by constructing various types of static buildings that generate resources over time.
After attaining a certain level, rival cities will start spawning, allowing the player to attack them. Enemy cities will learn over time, so you can't rely on just the same attack over and over. The game has ten achievements that players can unlock if they need goals to stay invested.
Looking back on it, I'm content with how it turned out, even if the end product is a significantly reduced form of the original vision.
